Vox-Box Mentos Pure Fresh!

The Mentos Pure Fresh Fresh Mint reminds me a little of my favorite gum ever Extra Polar Ice. Only  difference instead of flavor crystals in a stick form like Polar Ice, Mentos Pure Fresh offers a cold burst of freshness without any frills with its almost concentrated liquid center. I was was originally thinking by the depictions on the package that there would be some kind of liquid center in each pellet. However after trying this and researching this I found that to be just an assumption indeed there is no such center! I did actually find a picture of the center on a Mentos sponsored website and this is what I found.

(Seems someone cut one in half and took a picture! Good idea too bad I couldn't do this since I ate all mine in a flash!!!!)

Otherwise, this is a good chew, consistent, a bit on the soft side, but quite enjoyable.

NYC New York Color, Vox Box Product Review

So as you, my readers know, I was selected for the Influenster Holiday VoxBox packed full of products to review. When I opened to the box I was very excited to find a product I didn't even know existed and has since became a staple in my beauty arsenal the NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine!

Now, I’m a lip gloss fanatic. So much so I have over 40 lip products alone, and have to hear my boyfriend complain about how much gloss can over person use. Or better yet complain about how much money I "waste" on useless or unneeded lip products, typically "really another one, don't you have enough." When I respond that I don't own this color, I hear "that is what I heard last time." I seriously have a makeup addiction that has manifested itself in a full blown and consuming way! I reapply lip color, lip gloss, or lip shine over and over again throughout the day at least 50 times.

New York Color Liquid Lipshine is available in 10 on-trend shades from neutral nudes, to berries and fuchsias. 

(They also have some matching or solo use lip stains that are in rocking colors too!)

New York Color generously provided their Liquid Lipshine in Nude York City. This shade is fantastic as a natural or day look. It provides just a tint of color, but adds a great shine to your lips. It also works great I found over bold lipsticks to tone them down and make them more everyday! I liked it a lot over my RED lip color I use from Rimmel, with this NYC gloss over, then I tapped on a small amount of the NYX gold shimmer powder and blotted! See Below picture! 

(I did out line with Red Wet & Wild lip liner as well as around my lips to prevent bleeding and running used the Mary Kay Signature Out Liner Pencil)

The Liquid Lipshine contains these pure pigments that create a 3-D gloss effect. I love the gloss it gave my lips without that sticky feeling. The Lipshine is also packed with Vitamin E which provides such a great moisturizing feel. Even after a long day, my lips still felt so soft and moisturized.

Vox-Box “imPRESS Press-on Manicure" Review!

So readers this is One of the products I Received complimentary through the influenster holiday 2011 vox-box Program!

Let's Just say In all Honesty I was and continue to be less than "impress"ed.... I think the review I submitted sums it up!

-I spent 30 minutes applying the nails that actually fit my nail bed!

-The adhesive was a seemingly very cheap material.

-The product lasted less that 30 minutes, Also for around or over $6.00 for the actually product If to purchase retail (remember I tested mine free of charge) that is an average of $2+ per 10 minutes and in today's day and age I know I personally don't have money to waste like that!

HORRENDOUS PRODUCT FAIL

Quick Take:
never buy, awful, waste, dislike, cheap

Usage Tips:
do not buy!!!!

The Verdict:
=TOTAL PRODUCT FAIL!!!! as previously stated!!!

So disapointed!

-The sizes didn't fit me. (Not one fit my pinky.)

-The adhesive tabs were so hard to pull off and so after using my teeth the adhesive was no good anymore.

-After putting them on they lasted about 30 minutes, (until I had to remove my 10 month old out of his car seat!)

They took about 20 minutes to put on and lasted less than 30!!!

=TOTAL PRODUCT FAIL!!!!
